H.O.L.A The Collection

2022 Design Trends H.O.L.A. Collection

As the first quarter of 2022 comes to a close, and spring starts rolling around, you might be wondering: what’s happening in 2022 in terms of decór? As we have been spending more time at home in general, our eye turns to explore all the different aspects of our homes, to bring out their best qualities. To relax in an aesthetically pleasing and comfortable environment is resting in both a physical and mental sense. This is why so many people have been paying more attention to their interiors.

This is where we come in – H.O.L.A. collection provides a range of indoor and outdoor furniture for all the different spaces in your home, as well as home decór such as rugs, clocks, and vases. To do so, we collaborate with a number of renowned partners such as Light & Living, Nordlux, Eforma, Tonin Casa, and  Infiniti Design, amongst others. With these brands, we bring you the finest of Italian, Dutch, and Danish ingenuity when it comes to furniture and home decór. Take a look at the full list of brands. Let us inspire you with some of the 2022 decór trends, so we can guide you through what’s in and what’s out.

We love neutral and natural colours; we gravitate towards the earth tones that add an organic feeling to your home. However, that’s not to say that there’s no room for colours. We want accents – and we want them bold, bright, and now. Try adding pops of colour in your more neutral rooms – consider purchasing a jewel-toned green chair and patterned pillows to accent the room. Even dramatic light fixtures or vibrant appliances would make the statement you’re looking for.

Our growing love for plants is getting stronger and stronger in 2022, and green hues are everywhere. After being shut inside, we are focusing on regaining our connection to the outside, natural world, by using design principles that incorporate natural lighting, ventilation, plants, and the use of green and wood. From light coloured sofas to warm-wooded sideboards and frames, neutral grey planters, brass accents, and pillows with a vibrant design.

Draped layers give the vision of luxury, adding a more elegant feel to a space. These add texture and depth, and the warmer, richer colours give interest when glancing around a room. This can be done by layering throws that either have a natural element such as cotton, or patterned fabric that gives the opportunity to add a rich pop of colour.

The beauty of multifunctional furniture is the fact that maximising your rooms is always a bonus. What better way to do it than to purchase furniture and items that have more than one use? For example, ottomans are back; but to be used as a coffee table. It is the ideal place to rest your feet, drink, books, or backside – just add trays on top for glasses, vases, and other such breakable objects, to put your mind at ease. Due to the pandemic, people have turned more towards carving out home office and home study areas, so accessories such as a sofa desk is also a handy purchase that allow you to enjoy the comfort of your sofa, or even your bed.
